I hear my wings rip as i fall out of the star filled sky
the pain so burning and aching i feel like i might die
i fall to the earth tears on my face as i cry
"oh god why oh why'
I bury my face in my hands knowing i have fallen from grace
that this is life i couldn't change my fate
I reach back to the wounds on my back
where my golden wings had disappeared
it is exactly as i feared.
because i choose the sin of lust instead of life
i am now human which i know even though painful its only right
i let out a wild cry of animal need
i know im freed of rules for all i can tell
but i know in my heart
that fallen angels always go to hell
